MENLO PARK, CALIFORNIA / RankWire.AI / – Meta has unveiled the Muse Wonder and Muse Wonder Full, a new lineup of sophisticated artificial intelligence models designed for software development, AI agents, and intricate daily tasks. The company developed these systems to assist with areas such as leases, insurance claims, financial data, and application creation. Meta launched Muse Wonder via its Model API and Muse Code on October 12, with Muse Wonder Full becoming accessible to users holding eligible Muse Code subscriptions.

These models are optimized for multi-step tasks rather than simple, single-response queries. Muse Wonder can strategize workflows, utilize digital tools, and distribute larger projects among specialized sub-agents. They are capable of functioning across browsers, desktop applications, and mobile platforms. Designed for resilience, the system can recover when a selected approach fails. Supporting context windows of approximately one million tokens, the models can process extensive documents, code repositories, and other sizable materials within a single session.
Meta also introduced Active Memory and Active Focus features alongside the Wonder models. Active Memory retains useful details from prior conversations and retrieves them as necessary. Active Focus enables an AI agent to persist through complex problems and adapt its strategy after encountering errors. The models can ask for clarification if instructions are missing critical details and seek confirmation before executing sensitive or significant actions. These enhancements aim to facilitate longer work periods without requiring users to restart tasks repeatedly.
New models bolster Meta’s agent and coding functionalities
Pricing for Muse Wonder is set at $4 per million input tokens via the Meta Model API. Output costs $20 per million tokens, and cached input is priced at $0.20 per million tokens. Instead of separate API fees, Meta offers Muse Wonder Full through paid Muse Code plans. The company also provides a Power Usage plan at $50 per month and a Maximum Usage plan at $200 per month, aimed at developers requiring higher access for intensive coding tasks.
Meta has shared benchmark results related to software engineering, coding agents, and long-term technical tasks, with evaluations including DeepSWE and SWE-Marathon. Both models were tested at maximum reasoning effort, with Muse Wonder earning an Intelligence Index score of 52 and Muse Wonder Full scoring 56. These scores surpass those of Meta’s earlier Muse Spark models on the evaluator’s scale, indicating a clear improvement in reasoning capabilities.
Safety and privacy measures accompany the rollout
Meta emphasizes that the Wonder models incorporate protections for privacy, harmful requests, and cybersecurity concerns. They are trained to avoid revealing private information without user consent and to reject harmful activity requests while maintaining legitimate security functions. Developers can still utilize the models to identify vulnerabilities in their own software and enhance defenses. Meta is assessing its most advanced AI systems under its Superintelligence Scaling Framework and intends to publish further details about safety testing for these new models.
The release follows a restructuring of Meta’s AI efforts that began approximately 14 months earlier. The company states that Muse Wonder builds upon the technical foundations laid by Muse Spark. Development utilized computing resources at Meta’s Prometheus data center. The company also plans to integrate Muse Wonder technology into additional features within the Muse ecosystem, starting with subscribers. Currently, developers can access Muse Wonder, while Muse Wonder Full remains available through qualifying Muse Code subscription plans.
